Mark Hindman was called to be the pastor of the Union Church of Lake Bluff sixteen years
ago. He was ordained ten years prior to that. Before working here, Mark was a youth pastor at the First Presbyterian
Church of Wilmette in Wilmette, Illinois, a pastoral counselor at the Institute for Living in Winnetka, Illinois and a crisis
counselor at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago, Illinois. Mark attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, McCormick
Theological Seminary in Chicago and Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
After twenty-five years, Mark
still loves being a pastor. He is most at home in the midst of pastoral counseling challenges or teaching a Bible Study or
leading worship on a Sunday morning. He is freqently spotted around time walking his lab puppy Karma or sweating on various
machines at the Lake Bluff Health and Fitness Center. If you haven't seen him for a while, chances are that he's found
a way to escape to the lakes in northern Minnesota.
You can email Mark at canoe37@aol.com.
He would love to hear from you!

Tracy Hindman was called as our associate pastor eight years ago. As the church grew,
we needed a youth pastor. After 15 years as the youth pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest, Tracy was ready
for a change and welcomed the chance to work with Mark, her husband. She is now enjoying working with our children and youth.
In particular, our work trip that combines working with handicapped campers and rehabbing homes in Missouri is one of the highlights
of Tracy's year. She has also added a variety of creative worship experiences to our church's life, including the introduction
of Traize' worship services.
Tracy can be found teaching our children and youth, working with the board of elders,
and generally organizing things! Tracy enjoys reading, time with her children, and time with dear friends.
Tracy
was educated at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. She has been ordained
for 24 years!
Tracy would welcome your comments at sacredpath12@aol.com.
